Operations Manager

We’re looking for a Full-time Operations Manager to join our Prototyping Team. 

Responsibilities

  • Work with programmers to manage changes to customer projects. 

  • Communicate with customers regarding project timelines. 

  • Purchase tooling, materials, and other consumables from vendors. 

  • Coordinate with outside service providers to ensure parts are being processed on schedule. 

  • Handle shipping and receiving. 

Qualifications

  • Strong work ethic. 

  • Experience in a customer-facing role requiring clear and professional communication. 

  • Experience with scoping project requirements and tracking task deadlines. 

  • Experience with common office computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel, etc.). 

  • Background with, or willingness to learn, reading technical drawings and documentation. 

  • Experience in manufacturing environments.

Prototyping Programmer

We’re looking for a Full-time CNC Programmer to join our Prototyping Team. 

Responsibilities

  • Work with a Operations Manager to scope customer projects. 

  • Program parts and fixturing using Fusion 360 or Mastercam. 

  • Inspect in-process and finished parts to ensure they meet specifications. 

  • Deburr, polish, and perform any other surface finishing required. 

  • Complete project paperwork. 

  • Weigh and articulate trade-offs between different setups, operations, and approaches. 

  • Balance completing customer work and supporting team members. 

Experience

  • Two years of CNC Prototype manufacturing experience using CAM strongly preferred.

  • Ability to plan, program and set up jobs from prints and CAD files.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.

  • Ability to regularly lift and position fixtures and tooling weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • Proficiency with basic and advanced inspection equipment including caliper, micrometer, gauge pins, and dial gauges. Experience with CMM is a plus. 

  • Extensive experience with the following:  

    • Set up and operation of mill and other basic shop tools for precision machining

    • Machining of stainless, aluminums, and plastics. Experience with exotic alloys is a plus. 

    • Machining strategies for holding tight tolerances. 

    • Fanuc, or similar, controls. 

    • CNC programming of complex 3D surfaces

    • Machine shop operations and maintenance, including safety practices

Operator

We’re looking for the Full-time CNC Machine Operator. 

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines.

  • Work from programs, operational data and set up instructions.

  • Perform necessary machine maintenance. 

  • Manually perform deburring operations.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Operator experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong work ethic required.

  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work well with others.

  • Ability to regularly lift and position fixtures and tooling weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

  • Knowledge of computer operation and related software required.

Intern

We’re looking for an Intern.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities will vary based on skill level.

  • May include programming, set up, creating running parts, or machine maintenance. 

Qualifications:

  • Strong work ethic required.

  • Ability to regularly lift and position fixtures and tooling weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

  • Deep interest in machining.
